We're a dynamic team and nearly all of us started at Moonly right after finishing our internships here. At the moment, we're in a strong growth phase as a scale-up. We love a good party, plenty of laughs, and great company, but we never hesitate to go all in to give our clients an extraordinary experience. A typical week at Moonly.

Once everyone has a fresh cup of coffee or tea, we kick off Mondays with a team stand-up to discuss the week ahead and make sure everyone is up to speed. You will get started on your school project, which we will decide together. We believe your project should become a real end product that is actually useful for Moonly or even our clients, not something that ends up forgotten on a shelf. On Fridays, it is time for a well-deserved fries lunch, and we finish the day a bit early for a round of ping pong or darts with a drink in hand.

It is not easy to define a concrete assignment at this stage, since we want your research to be truly valuable to us. That's why we'll work together to see which clients you find interesting and link your internship project to them. This way, you get to do something you enjoy, and we can truly make use of your results.

About you

We have already guided many students through successful internships, so we know what it takes for you to thrive and give you the right support. Naturally, you want to know what we expect from you. Besides ambition and a genuine drive for software development, we're looking for someone who recognizes themselves in the following:

  • You're motivated to keep developing yourself, both in soft skills and technical abilities
  • You work well independently, but you also thrive in a team
  • You get excited about developing custom software solutions for our clients
  • You have proven experience with PHP, MySQL, and JavaScript, and you are either familiar with or interested in frameworks such as Laravel and React
  • You can find your way around all aspects of an application, both frontend and backend development

What we offer

Naturally, we’re just as motivated to help you get the most out of your internship. So besides our fun Friday afternoon drinks, where we love to play darts, table football, or just relax on our awesome rooftop terrace, you’ll also get the right support and guidance from us. You’ll be assigned a dedicated internship supervisor to help with any questions. Every two weeks, we’ll also have a meeting to check in on your progress. And let’s not forget:

  • The option to work from home one day a week to focus on your schoolwork in your own bubble
  • Internship compensation per month: €500,00
  • Working hours from 09:30 - 17:00 and your own workspace, right in the middle of the team
  • Even though you're an intern, we see you as a colleague and truly part of the team
  • There's a solid chance to land a (fulltime) contract after your internship. So prove you belong on our team!
