The challenge for Pieter Pot

During the company’s rapid growth phase, a massive software ecosystem with a smartphone app was developed, which became increasingly complex and labor-intensive. This started to hinder innovation and the ability to quickly adapt to changing customer needs. The existing IT infrastructure was no longer future-proof. The custom-built app was expensive, difficult to maintain, and lacked flexibility.

A new, efficient webshop

The team needed a solution that would not only lower costs, but also be scalable, easy to manage, and flexible for further growth. That’s why Pieter Pot took a new step: moving from a high-maintenance app to a modern, user-friendly, and flexible webshop.
Together with Moonly, Pieter Pot developed a modern Shopify Plus webshop to continue its mission. The result is a future-proof, easily adaptable, scalable, and user-friendly store.

We have now added the option for business customers to place orders with Pieter Pot. This means that not only private customers can quickly and easily order their groceries through the webshop, but businesses can also use the platform.

Since business users often have different needs and requirements compared to individual consumers, the challenge was to design and implement a user-friendly experience tailored specifically to this B2B audience. This ensures that Pieter Pot can continue to serve its retail customers with an efficient and pleasant ordering environment, while also optimally supporting its business customers with a suitable and intuitive ordering experience.
