ZinVolt, formerly EvaPower, brings smart home batteries to the European market in collaboration with AlphaESS. The brand focuses on households that want to store, understand and use their self-generated energy more effectively.
For a strong customer experience, the battery alone is not enough. People need to see what is happening at a glance and have a simple way to steer intelligently, without needing a degree in energy management.
A smart battery is only smart when people can understand it
For its introduction in the Netherlands and Belgium, ZinVolt needed more than a hardware product. Households needed a simple way to understand battery status, energy consumption and potential savings.
At the same time, the digital foundation had to be secure, scalable and under ZinVolt’s own control. ZinVolt wanted to grow quickly without being locked into a closed or hard-to-adapt solution.
