vanRaam develops adapted bicycles for people who cannot ride a standard two-wheeler. From tricycles to side-by-side tandems and wheelchair bikes, every product is tailored to the user.
The e-bike app is an important part of that experience. Users need to connect without hassle, view bike information and trust that the technology simply supports their ride.
An outdated app got in the way of a worry-free ride
The existing e-bike app was technically outdated and no longer ready for new Apple and Google requirements. Bluetooth connections were not always stable and functions such as route information needed renewal.
For vanRaam, this had to be more than a visual update. Existing users and their connected bikes needed to move with the product, while the new app had to become simpler, more reliable and ready for the future.
